6. System and Features of Thermal Water Pools
The first calculation to be made in aquaculture projects where geothermal energy resources
will be used is to determine the dimensions of the geothermal pool. In many projects
involving such applications, the size of the pools is limited to the maximum amount of heat
that can be drawn from geothermal energy sources. Preliminary calculations including the
possible heat losses from the pools of the use of geothermal energy resources in aquaculture.
In order to calculate the heat losses, it is necessary to determine the temperature that the pool
should have first.
