               6.1.2. Cylindrical Tanks


               It is the most ideal tank type in fish farming. It is a tank system where the water enters from
               the upper edge of the tank and there is a water outlet from the opposite side of the water inlet

               or in the middle of the bottom, and the water level is adjusted by pipe type weirs. Compared

               to other tank shapes, it is advantageous in terms of homogeneous distribution of water in the
               tank  and  no  dead  spots  in  the  tank.  The  tank  shape  is  more  suitable  for  the  swimming

               movement of the fish. It can be produced in various diameters, sizes and depths. Especially in
               tanks  where  there  is  water  discharge  in  the  middle  of  the  bottom  of  the  tank,  the  conical

               bottom will help inedible feeds and fish excrement to collect in the middle and remove away

               from the tank. They can be produced from polyester, fiber or PE material.
